Welcome to the Assessment Support Materials for ǰ Performing Arts.

ǰ Performing Arts refers to performing art forms that are uniquely ǰ such as mōteatea and haka. The unit standards in ǰ Performing Arts recognise skills and knowledge in this area.

The resources on this page are designed to help teachers and tutors assess ākonga against the relevant ǰ Performing Arts unit standards listed in the Directory of Assessment and Skills Standards (DASS).

Assessors can use the assessment support material for the ǰ Performing Arts unit standards to develop tasks and assessment schedules.

Update to the Base Scope of Assessment for Schools

The Base Scope of Assessment for Schools has been updated and ǰ Performing Arts (Te Ao Haka and New ǰ Music) has increased the level covered by the BSAS to Level 4.
